RIP Freddie

25 years? 25 bloody years, where did that go? It's that long ago we lost a talented, funny, warm and wonderful human being. It's that long ago the world lost a innovator, a musician of great worth, a giant of the rock world. It's that long ago those that knew him lost a friend.
I think of him every day - as do you I am sure. I think, in times of stress and struggle - what would Freddie do? His voice pops up on the radio, at times I need to hear him. He's watching over us somewhere, with the great and good, including my sister Val, my parents, his parents, and all the others we have lost.
He will always be with us in our hearts and in our minds and in our music. But I don't remember him with sadness. I remember him with joy, with laughter, that quirky grin, that daft sense of humour!
Rest in Peace Freddie, I bet wherever you are, you are having a ball! I send my love and my great respect. We shall all be raising a glass or several in your honour tonight, trust me on that! Big hugs my friend.
