Ph.D STUDENT NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Hello Queen Fans,
My name is Clare Thornley and I am a Ph.D. musicology student at New York University. I am currently working
on a project that I am hoping some of you might be able to help me with. I am studying Queen's 1986 concert
in Budapest and am interested in speaking with people who were either at the concert or living in Hungary or
Eastern Europe at the time. I would like to learn as much as possible about the event - I have read most of the
literature available and watched the video of the concert recorded by the Hungarian government's film company
but I would like to hear from anybody who may have experienced this event first hand.

So, if you were there and wish to share your thoughts and memories with me, please e-mail me at
cat320@nyu.edu. Please put "Queen in Budapest" in the subject line. I am interested in anything you wish to
share with me - the build up to the concert, any sonic or visual elements from the concert itself, anything you
remember seeing, hearing, feeling, etc. (or any photographs!)

(Just a quick note on privacy: At this point, I am not sure if I will be using names in my paper/article. If you do
wish to remain anonymous, please make a note of this in your e-mail as well.)
