A lot of you may remember Paul Brown - if you ever dared go to the Convention without a fancy dress costume in recent years, and remember being fined by Darth Vader, the Kurgan, the Highlander, Jimmy Saville, or Pop from We Will Rock You: that was Paul. Very sadly Paul died of lung cancer on 18th June, shortly after diagnosis. He adored Queen and the many friends he'd made through the fan club. His funeral next week (Mon 29th June in Redditch) will be a celebration of his life, marked by, of course, the music of his favourite band.

There is a website raising funds in memory of the Firefighters Charity, a cause close to Paul's heart, in his memory at www.justgiving.com/inmemoryofpaulbrown. Funeral details are on the site too and all Queen fans are welcome to come and join in the celebration.
