Hi All Queen Fan Club Members
I am working with the Metropolitan Police to organise 2 large charity events for Macmillan Cancer Support taking place later this year.
On the 25th July 2008 officers of Metropolitan Police will be taking part in a sponsored bike ride starting at Lands End and finishing at John O’Groats which hopefully should take about 14 days. We are also holding a Grand Summer Fund Raising Evening on 20 June 2008 at Royal Windsor Racecourse. We are hoping both events will raise huge amounts of money for Macmillan Cancer Support, who carry out some amazingly tireless work to support cancer sufferers and their families which I am sure at some time or the other have sadly touched /or will touch every one of us.
We are expecting 500 people to attend our prestigious event at Royal Windsor where we will have celebrities joining us for an evening of fun. We are also holding a grand auction on the night with some wonderful items which are listed on our website, loads more to be added yet, and hopefully with Jacky’s help (a star as always – what would we do without her) I will be putting together a Queen package (so watch this space) macmillanbikeandball.co.uk
