The Knebworth Queen Rock Magic exhibition will now concentrate solely on the bands last tour - The Magic Tour. I need to hear from you if you have any items specific to that tour from all over Europe - tees and other merchandise, tickets, programmes, passes, stage clothing - anything you think people will want to see. I am also desperately looking for tickets from each of the Magic Tour concerts - I don't have to have your original, a top quality photocopy would do just as well! We are planning to have a "launch picnic" in Knebworth Park on Sunday August 8th, (the 9th is of course the 25th anniversary of that legendary show!) and everyone is welcome. You will have to buy either just a Park entry ticket, or a House ticket - obviously to see the exhibits you have to have the House admission ticket - details at www.knebworthhouse.com or you can buy one on the day. Turn up from midday onwards with your picnic, your drinks, and, if you have one, your own gazebo/shelter - we cannot guarantee the weather of course! We can play music there too. I am hoping we might have some special guests to open the exhibition, but I'm not holding my breath on that yet!
We will all meet outside the Cafe in the grounds of the park at midday - near the Dinosaur trail! Then groups of you can go and visit the exhibition over the course of the afternoon. See you there!
