A commemorative plaque (I think it's a star shape!) is to be unveiled in Feltham, where Freddie and his family settled after they moved to the UK form Zanzibar in 1964. The ceremony will take place on Feltham High Street on November 24th.
Tribute band "Mercury" will perform a short 30 minute acoustic set at 11.30am, and after this the unveiling ceremony will take place.
Attending will be Freddie's Mum Jer, his sister Kash and her husband Roger, and Brian May.
All fans are welcome to attend and the fan club is hoping to find somewhere nearby where we can all gather after the ceremony to chat and share Freddie stories with a drink and a bite to eat perhaps. Once I have any news on if that will be possible I'll post it here and on the fan club forum.
